The Royal British Legion
Special Edition Travel Tin

To mark the centenary of Simpkins and the Royal British Legion, we have created a limited-time only Mixed Fruit Drop tin.

15p from the sale of each of these Simpkins Mixed Fruits Drops Tins will be paid to Royal British Legion Trading Limited which gives its taxable profits to The Royal British Legion (Charity no. 219279) and Poppyscotland (Scottish Charity No. SC014096)

We are proud to partner with the Royal British Legion, as we both mark our 100th anniversaries this year.

Second Lieutenant Leslie Simpkin (my grandfather) founded the company in 1921 after returning from World War 1. Leslie was injured at the Somme and was awarded the Military Cross for his service.

At AL Simpkin, we are world famous as the original manufacturer of gluten free travel sweets in tins, using only all-natural colours and flavours, but now those tins will proudly display the logo of the RBL.

This is a wonderful way to mark our centenary and raise vital funds to provide life-long support to serving and ex-serving members of the British Armed Forces, their families and dependents through hardships, injuries and bereavements.

I hope you can join me in celebrating this special year and pick up our limited time only Royal British Legion tin to mark our centenaries.
